One of the biggest casino game producers is Microgaming. Five years ago they decide to leave the US market even though they dominated most of it. Along with RTG, they are considered the leaders in online gaming, with hundreds of online casinos games and dozens of trustworthy companies operating with their software. But since they left the USA, new emerging producers of casino games such as Rival-Gaming and Top Game, have taken over. Over the last two or three years the first of these companies, Rival-Gaming, has been consolidating their reputation and providing their software to almost 30 successful online casinos. The real question now is whether Microgaming upon returning to the US market will regain their title of leaders or will they have a stiff competition with other brands?
It is hard to say how the cards will play out on this one. Microgaming has lost touch with the US public while Rival-Gaming has been working closely with US-friendly companies. Rival-Gaming has the features US players need like safe and reliable deposit and withdrawal methods. They are also creating games that will appeal to the US public. Microgaming is aware of this and they have started to discuss with particular Rival-Gaming companies in order to do a coalition of a sort. They want their US traffic to be directed to an integrated Rival-Gaming interface on their own Microgaming software. That will allow US players to sign up at a Microgaming casino while playing Rival-Gaming games.
The details have not been revealed yet and it is still uncertain whether all Microgaming casinos will reenter the USA gambling scene or if only a few will. As the UIGEA looms over the horizon, it will also be a determining factor before any serious commitments will be taken by Microgaming online casinos and betting sites.
